Content and physical description
ContentThanks for everything, he'd be happy if he could have B. Chester (for the publication of the Double Concerto); it would not make a good impression if the manuscript of the Double Concerto were sent direct from Boosey; he will arrange for the score to be delivered to Mr. Gibson through some intermediary; believes that the work could be a commercial success because it is a composition for strings; knows from UE that Bartók's work, which is also partly for double strings, was in great demand; sends a list of works but does not have sheet music for all of them and some works are in exclusive use as STRING TRIO NO. 2 - Trio Pasquier, STRING QUARTET No, 5 - Pro Arte, CONCERTANT DUO (Georges and Victor Desarzens); he would be particularly interested in the location of the THREE FRAGMENTS FROM THE OPERA JULIETTE or the short piece extracted from the opera [PLAYS OF MARY] - La legende et la Nativité; wants to compose a Suite of Czech Dances for orchestra in the style of Dvořák's Slavonic Dances, it could be an excellent item for an editor; asks for someone to give him English lessons; is Jean-Aubry going to write a review of TRE RICERCARI?; asks for it to be sent, as he would need it for Boosey to promote when the score comes out; has not yet found a single criticism of this concert in Paris, although there have been five performances.
