Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů sends David Ewen the answers to his biographical questionnaire for contemporary composers. The text is divided into a total of ten sections apparently corresponding to the questions asked (the original questionnaire is not quoted). BM summarises his background and education, and gives an overview of his work to date and its reception. He considers his way of composing to be 'intrinsic and difficult to explain'. In music he prefers Mozart.
