Content and physical description

Content	The notebook contains an autograph list of Bohuslav Martinů's compositions with notes on the date and place of composition, first performance and other information. On one page the list is headed 'Manuscripts (in Paris)'. Part of the notebook is described by Martinů's notes on the history of music, especially from the 16th to the 19th century. On the last page are (scenic) notes on the "Histoire de Tévie" [i.e., the French translation from Yiddish of Sholom Aleichem's short stories "Ṭeṿye der milkhiḳer", known in English as "Tevye the Dairyman"].
