ContentBohuslav Martinů acknowledges receipt of the letter of 23 June 1931 [the correct date should be 23 May 1931] and expresses his heartfelt thanks for the great honour he has received by being appointed a full member of the Fourth Class of the Czech Academy. The honour and the knowledge that his work is being followed pleases him. He also encloses the document which was sent to him to be filled in.
