Content	Martinů announces the success of the premiere of TRE RICERCARI at the Venice Festival. His INVENCE was previously performed in Venice. For the Arte Quartet, he performed the SMITH QUARTET No. 5 in Los Angeles and will perform it in Washington and Paris. SMITH QUARTET No. 4 was broadcast by radio in Luxembourg and will be broadcast in Paris. CONCERTO GROSSO will be performed in Paris by Munch. The BBC will play CONCERTINO FOR CL. TRIO AND SM. ORCHESTRA and LEGEND OF ST. DOROTH [SPALICE] and they want to add CONCERT FOR CEMBALO AND SMALL ORCHESTRA, CONCERT FOR VIOLONCELLO AND ORCHESTRA No. 1 and THE BIRTH OF THE LORD [PLAYS ABOUT MARY].
