Content and physical description
ContentMartinů accepted a deposit of 2000 fr. for May. French editions make few prospectuses, they cannot be taken as a model.
Martinů will contact Toman and K. Čapek, but it would be better to visit them in person when Martinů is in Prague.
He is already working on the commissioned works [SONATINA for violin and piano, INTERMEZZO for violin and piano, THURSDAYS AND EIGHTEEN]. As for the Eva appendix, Martinů accepts the proposed title. Martinů sends some materials and scores: the "Small Serenades" [SERENADA No. 1 A MOLL, SERENADA No. 2, SERENADA No. 3, DIVERTIMENTO (SERENADA No. 4)] and the CONCERT FOR PIANO TRIO WITH STRING ORCHESTRA. Martinů will write a SONATA FOR FLUTE, HUSEL AND PIANO, which will be performed on the radio. He gives a list of works for which there is exclusivity. He sends the INVENTORY material. Manuscript scores for viewing are to be sent only to foreign and distinguished conductors, not to Radio-j[ournal] in Brno, who are to accept the piece without viewing.
