Content and physical description
ContentKarel Boleslav Jirák answers Tomáš Hejzlar's questionnaire about his relationship to Bohuslav Martinů. KBJ highlights BM's contribution to the discovery of French music for Czech composers. He discusses in detail the affair surrounding KBJ's accusations of collaboration and intent to harm BM. KBJ writes about his long-standing friendship and correspondence with BM. KBJ writes, among other things, about the circumstances why BM did not return to his homeland after the war - Frank Rybka learned that BM would lose all standing in the Czechoslovakia. KBJ also sent this text to all those involved in the aforementioned affair and to other institutions in order to clear his name once again.
