Content and physical description
ContentIša Popelka thanks Charlotta Martinů for the kind reception of the Compositions for Polička [OLD SONG, PRELUDIUM, SONG ON AN OLD SPANISH TEXT, FOXTROT RECORDED "ON THE ROSE", CELEBRATION MARCH "KYTARS", FOXTROT, BLACK-BOTTOM, PRELUDIUM]. In 1976 or 1977 he would like to release an album of unpublished compositions by Bohuslav Martinů called Songs and Dances. Most of the album will include pieces inspired by the jazz opera of the 1920s, such as the works SLZY KNIFE and THREE WISHES. The album will also include photographs, images and lyrics. A recording of CONCERT FOR HOUSEL AND ORCHESTRA #1 is planned for the second half of 1975, to be released with CONCERT FOR HOUSEL AND ORCHESTRA #2. The score and the piano extract of CONCERT FOR HOUSEL AND ORCHESTRA No. 1 are being prepared for release in the same year (1975). IP will hand over the ChM address to the new director of Supraphon, who has become Viktor Kašák (his artistic representative is Jiří Válek).
