Content and physical description
ContentCharlotta Martinů asks whether Karel Šebánek sent [Jaroslav] Berger ISTAR. She has no information about [Harry] Halbreich, who is still waiting for his visa to Prague. ChM thinks that he will not receive the document, which is a pity, as KS could have brought the manuscript and material of the CONCERTO FOR PIANO AND ORCHESTRA No. 1. Contracts regarding the publication of this work are pending. ChM is also wondering where the manuscript of the SONATA FOR FLUTE, HUSEL AND PIANO is. She thought it was in the possession of [Marcel] Moyse, to whom the piece was dedicated, but this is not the case. At the beginning of October, ChM went to Zurich, where the GREEK PASSIONS was successfully performed. Eight more performances are planned for October and November and next season. It is not certain that the PLAYS ABOUT MARY will be published by Bärenreiter, as it has been discovered that part of THE BIRTH OF THE LORD [THREE SONGS SACRED?] is included in the catalogue of the Czech Music Fund. ChM therefore asks the CS to resolve this matter. She also received a letter from Mr. and Mrs. Lejšek from Brno, who requested that the THREE CZECH DANCES be sent. ChM has made a copy which she will send the following week.
