Content and physical description
ContentIs the material CONCERTA GROSSO and TRE RICERCARI ready? Did they send a copy of the score of TRE RICERCARI to Paul Sacher? Martinů asks to release his new SMITH QUARTET [No. 5] and MADRIGALS for winds, as Melantrich is not interested in them and Martinů can publish them in France.
They are to call the Czechoslovakia. Radio to R. Zik to ask him to send a copy of the score and the voices of the SMITH QUARTET No. 4 to Quatuor Lejeune. Martinů writes to Venice [festival] to negotiate with Melantrich about the material and the rental fee for TRE RICERCARI. They are to let Talich know that they are holding INVENCE for him for the next season, as they have agreed with Martinů, and they can offer Kubelík for the Philharmonic [?] season the CONCERTINO FOR CLASSICAL TRIO AND MUSIC ORCHESTRA, the score of which is now in London. What about the printing of FOUR SONGS OF MARY? Have the SONATINA for violin and piano and the "small piano pieces" been published?
