Content and physical description
ContentCharlotta Martinů has not received a reply from Karel Šebánek and does not know what is going on. She has also written to [Saša] Večtom and [Anna] Špačková, but they have not written either. Nor did she receive the programme of the [Prague Spring?] festival. She adds the programme of the concert where the GREEK PASSIONS were performed. Due to illness she was unable to attend the performance, but listened to it on the radio. Brian Large is already in Prague. He has written a book on Bohuslav Martinů and will definitely be at Zdenka Podhajska's. ChM received two discs with recordings of SYMPHONY No. 6 and MEMORIAL TO HUMANS from [Jaroslav] Seda. She also received the score of SPRING IN THE GARDEN, so KS does not have to send it again. The State Symphony Orchestra of the USSR recorded CONCERTINO FOR PIANO AND ORCHESTRA, LES RONDES and SYMPHONY No. 6 under the direction of Michael Bialogusky. ChM's addendum of 28 May: she had already received a letter about the CS and would still like to receive the festival programme. She asked if the Coolidge award was BM's award for the SMITH QUINTET or the SMITH SEXTET. She also wonders if KS needs confirmation to travel to France.
