Content and physical description
Content5. SYMFONE was a great success performed by the [Czech] Philharmonic. It is also recorded on a record. Other works will be recorded next year. There is interest in the SYMFONIC FANTASIES, which they want to play at the Festival. In the [National?] Museum there are scores of CONCERTINA FOR VIOLONCELLO, ISTAR, BLUE HOUR [part of the composition MISSING MIDNIGHT] and BLOODY NIGHTS. Did the Martins give permission for the Museum to take over the material? It belongs to them as family in the absence of Bohuslav Martinů. Will they ask for it back? The play on the bridge has been taken off the programme and the contract has not yet been sent. One of BM's photographs has been lent by KS to Brno for copying. Jan Novák will return it to them in Polička.
