Content and physical description

Content	Ivo Žídek, director of the National Theatre, writes to Adolf Čejchan, director of the National Museum, about the exhibition The Staging of Bohuslav Martinů, which was originally scheduled to take place in the foyer of the Smetana Theatre in the 1989/1990 season. The IŽ thanks you for your understanding in connection with the loans of original music memorabilia. The exhibition was postponed until the 1990/1991 season due to a request from the BM Anniversary Committee to hold the exhibition in the anniversary season of the composer's birth. The IJ requests permission to loan original scenic and costume designs and other musical memorabilia for April 1990 for re-shooting and also for October-June 1990/1991 for display in security installation panels. The items will be insured for the duration of the exhibition. Please also find a list of musical memorabilia requested by the IJ for loan.
