Content and physical description
ContentMiloš Šafránek returns with thanks to the critics. He would also like to know if Virgil Thomson also wrote a review in the New York Herald Tribune. MŠ sends the latest table of the Czech translation of Gilgamesh. He thanks BM for the letter sent on 14 Feb - but MS inadvertently lost it, so he is at least writing notes of what he remembered of the compositions from the letter.
KYTICE will be performed in Prague on 10 and 11 March - they are to let him know in advance if they want to come. Longer piano pieces such as Czech Dances [THREE CZECH DANCES H324?] and Preludes [EIGHT PRELUDES?] are played. František Smetana will perform on March 2 and 8. Cello Sonata, [Alexandr] Plocek and [Josef] Páleníček recorded 3. On 24 and 25 March the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra plays the 5th SYMPHONY. MŠ asks for the address of BM in Nice.
