ContentMerritt Tompkins was very happy to meet Bohuslav Martinů. He now reports in writing on the current state of the matters they discussed together. The only two works not yet part of the editorial process are the CONCERT FOR TWO PIANOS AND ORCHESTRA and the CONCERT FOR VIOLONCELLO AND ORCHESTRA. They want to have the short orchestral pieces [INTERMEZZO, THUNDERBOLT] done by the end of the summer. MT informs of changes in contracts - BM will be given a royalty of 10%. He also advises him to become a member of Associated Music Publishers. He also explains the complications arising with the publication of the Concerto for Two Pianos and Orchestra - BM has a commitment to another company. The fee should be paid to [?] Muzak. He hopes that BM will resolve these irregularities and the company will be able to pay him the amount due.
