Content and physical description
ContentCharlotte Martinů attended the mass under the direction of Max Kellerhals, and [Maja] Sacher arranged the beautiful flowers for the tomb. They also visited [Frank] Rybka in Sanremo. But then one day [Anna Marie] Wurm called to say that FR had committed suicide. ChM could not come to the funeral for health reasons. She is delighted that the PLAYS ABOUT MARY will be performed again and asks Karl Šebánek to send tickets to Mrs. Mark [presumably from Panton] - encloses her address. ChM still has not received the 1986 CZK from Supraphon. Mr. Marko has arranged for the young American to receive the (score?) of the CONCERT FOR PIANO AND ORCHESTRA No. 2. [Anna] Špačková also wrote that she had not seen KŠ for a long time. [Zdeněk] Pechold wrote to ChM that JULIETTA would be performed at Covent Garden. ChM did not know that it was in America, so she wrote to [Walter] Schmolk, who sent a copy of the score. The shipment would be paid for by Dilia Publishing. ChM hopes to be well as soon as possible so that she can attend concerts featuring the music of Bohuslav Martinů. She also asks KS to ask [Jaroslav] Seda for the RHAPSODY-CONCERTO discs.
