Content and physical description
ContentCharlotte Martinů returned from the Lucerne Festival, where she premiered her CONCERT FOR PIANO TRIO AND MUSIC ORCHESTRA. The performance was a great success. The piece will also be performed at the Bonn International Festival. ChM also went to see the tomb of Bohuslav Martinů. Dilia wrote that OPENING THE STUDIOS will only be performed in December, so ChM is unlikely to attend the performance. Anne-Marie Grüner asks to be sent the CONCERT FOR VIOLINS AND ORCHESTRA [No. 1, OR 2?] [Louis-Marius] Speyer was delighted with the shipment of NONET [No. 1] and wants to include it in the program. He has written to Boosey & Hawkes but has not yet received a reply. So, if KS knows of anyone who can handle this matter, let him know. It would also be good if he would send the material to the Boston Symphony Orchestra. ChM also asks for a copy of LES RONDES to be sent to him. She has seen an attorney in Zurich and will send KS the contract. She thinks Panton will confirm the contract. [Mario] Bois is waiting for KS in Paris. Maybe JULIETTA will be performed in Geneva.
