Content and physical description
Content[Jarmil] Burghauser has not yet received the parcel from Georges Neveux, so he will soon write to Charlotte Martinů himself about JULIETTA. The score of the piano concerto [CONCERT FOR PIANO AND ORCHESTRA No.1], which was prepared by Karel Šolc, is already ready for printing. Panton will print the score next week. The manuscript of the score is with Karel Šebánek. The score of MOTEL THAT DUPAL has already been published. KS therefore asks ChM to confirm receipt of five copies. There is only the first movement of NONET No. 1. The manuscript is with KS and the other parts of the work need to be traced. [Bohuš] Heran received a letter from ChM. It is necessary to order a copy of VARIATION ON SLOVAK PEOPLE'S WRITING from the publisher Bärenreiter, as KS has no copy. He therefore asks ChM to state how many copies he would like. She also reminds him not to forget the contract. Bärenreiter is counting on a 30% discount on each copy. KS encloses the contract with Bärenreiter, which ChM should think about signing. He believes that the publisher will not want to publish Bohuslav Martinů's works without owning the manuscripts. KS also tries in vain to push for the publication of the RHAPSODY-CONCERTO material. It is therefore up to the publishing house to prepare the material. It has no reports from the United States of the existence of a manuscript of SYMPHONY No. 2. He conveys greetings from [Joseph] Urban.
