ContentMartinů offers Melantrich to print his works [listed in the subject of the letter] on the following terms:
1) a royalty of 15% of the sales of the music; 2) payment of royalties outside the Czechoslovak Republic; 3) the manuscripts will remain the property of B. Martinů's property; 4) securing distribution by foreign companies; 5) Martinů reserves the right of first refusal to stage works written by him in the future.
Martinů has the right to withdraw within 3 months if Melantrich does not meet his demands. This offer becomes valid upon approval by the Syndicate of Czech Composers.
