Content and physical description
ContentCharlotte Martinů is delighted that TWICE ALEXANDER will be performed in Mannheim on 24 January 1964, and notes that it will be a world premiere. How is work progressing on the release of RAPSODY - CONCERT FOR VIOLA, RAPSODY (All. Symph.) and INKANTATION? Josef Páleníček confirmed to her personally that he has not played INKANTATION.
ChM says he is an American citizen, and notes that Bohuslav Martinů was a member of the Suisa organization in 1958-59. ChM notes that the CONCERT FOR VIOLONCELLO AND ORCHESTRA No. 2 was published by Schott for Associated Music Publishers of New York. She notes that she instructed her Zurich attorney to take up the matter with Henri Honegger in the SONATA DA CAMERA case. The matter of the CONCERT FOR VIOLIN, PIANO AND ORCHESTRA is now closed and the work will be published by Schott.
