ContentInge Hager notes that she is taking the place of Karl Vötterl, who has gone away for a few days. She comments on the individual compositions:
MADRIGALS: During the next few days, Richard Baum will contact Bohuslav Martinů about them.
INKANTATION: The manuscript has been sent to Pratteln.
MOUNTAIN OF THREE LIGHTS: Photocopies will be made according to BM's wishes.
STOWE PASTORALS: They will be published under the title Pastorals.
PARABOLS: They have agreed to BM's original suggestion, that is to omit the mottoes. BM's comments regarding corrections will be taken into account.
They enclose the manuscript of VARIATIONS ON SLOVAK PEOPLE'S WRITING as received, as well as the contract for STOWE PASTORALS, PARABOLS, SONATA FOR FLUTE, HOUSEL AND Clavier, PROMENADES and VARIATIONS ON WORDS. FOR THE PEOPLE'S WRITING. Requests that one signed copy be returned. They liked the libretto to ARIADNE very much and ask for a piano lift to be sent.
