ContentHe apologizes for worrying them about the recording of the Symphony No. 1 performed by Z. Mácala, which they have not yet received. She knows that they are busy with translations for the WDR. Dr. Hermann Lang was right that she never requested all the recordings that Mácal conducted. But now that the entirety of all six symphonies will be recorded, she no longer has to make any demands on WDR. He thanks Mr. Henderson, who is a new admirer of B. Martinů. They may have the opportunity to meet him in Rouen, where the opera Juliette will be performed on 24 and 25 April. Jürgen will be there with his Dorothy. He describes the journey to Rouen, not far from Vieux Moulin, about 80 km. On Sunday 29 February, BBC Radio 3 London broadcast the opera Greek Passion. He thinks Mr Henderson listened to it. He says they have been broadcasting a lot of B music this week. Martinů on the radio in Paris and Bordeaux. She reports that she has received a record of the Concerto for two violins and orchestra and the Rhapsody-Concerto for viola and orchestra. She complains about her health and the cold weather. She wishes Gerd a safe journey. He begs them to return the stamps as he is giving them to collectors.
