He had to finish proofreading the operating material of SYMPHONY No. 2 [ which he sent to Cleveland on 10.10.1943 for performance]. Can JB translate the text if needed for his concert program? [The text on the CONCERT is written in French.] In the article on MUSIC COCERT No. 2, BM describes the circumstances of the commission of the work from Mischa Elman and discusses in detail the form and purpose of the concert.
