Content and physical description

Content	Karel Šebánek informs Charlotte Martinů about several matters that needed to be taken care of. [Erich] Leinsdorf has no information about the manuscript of SYMPHONY No. 2. He will arrive in Prague on 11 May. KS sends in a separate envelope the programme of the Prague festival [Prague Spring] and also a list of contracts with Panton. Brno [International Music Festival Brno] is still preparing everything, KS will ask [Zdeněk] Zouhar for details. She also sends her warm greetings from [Josef] Urban and says that three tickets for the performance of JULIETTA on 13 May have been prepared for her. [Vojtěch] Strnad should write to ChM regarding the catalogue of Bohuslav Martinů's compositions. He will also send discs of Juliette to [H.] Gabor in Vienna. KS is not satisfied with the situation with the Bärenreiter publishing house. KS will hand over the contract to ChM personally when he is in Prague. He hopes that the whole situation will be resolved as soon as possible. He and [Jaromír] Špáček agreed that it is necessary to see the contracts, so he asks ChM to bring them to Prague. It is not possible to keep prolonging this situation, as these are pieces that are part of the programme at the Brno festival. [Bohuš] Heran received one copy of the Variations for Cello [VARIATIONS ON SLOVAK PEOPLE'S SONG]. The Schott publishing house has received an address by [Bedřich] Macenauer. KS has also written to Schirmer and is awaiting a reply.
