Content and physical description
ContentCharlotte Martinů received a parcel with a coat and dress from a lady from Saarbrücken. She is unable to reply to her because her address is illegible. She therefore asks Karel Šebánek to send [Anna] Špačková a thank-you note to be delivered to the lady. [Jaroslav] Mihule informed ChM about the execution of the SPALIKK. According to ChM, it is foolish to pay the museum [in Polička?] for manuscripts that she herself owns. The museum does not want to return the manuscripts, but only the photocopies. But this matter does not bother ChM so much; she is more interested in the reviews from New York and the condolences on the death of Bohuslav Martinů. She believes that the documents will not be found again. There is no new information about the performance of JULIETTA in New York since 1970. The score is said to have been returned to Boosey & Hawkes. Duclos [Didier] has called the publisher and says they have no contact with Dilia. ChM does not understand this situation at all. ChM's attorney in Zurich made a search and discovered the manuscript of a violin concerto [CONCERT FOR VIOLIN AND ORCHESTRA No. 1], a violin concerto that was published by Artia [CONCERT FOR VIOLIN AND ORCHESTRA No. 2?], a CONCERT SUITE FOR VIOLIN AND ORCHESTRA. She has already written all this to [Jaroslav] Seda to discuss the situation with KS. ChM wants to go to Zurich to resolve this matter. [Hans] Moldenhauer still has not sent her a copy of [Concerto for Violin and Orchestra No. 1].
