ContentCharlotte Martinů has written to the publisher Bärenreiter, but the situation is still uncertain. [Fritz] Oeser is coming to Prague in April, so he will fine-tune the situation with Karel Šebánek. They missed the exam at Radiodiffusion française. ChM does not know if Harry Halbreich can come to Prague, but asks KS to give him the manuscript and material for the CONCERT FOR PIANO AND ORCHESTRA No. 1. ChM has received from Panton a list of works by Bohuslav Martinů which they plan to publish. If KS meets with HH, they can discuss this, or they can then wait for ChM to come to Prague in the spring. The [publication of] SYMPHONY No. 2 and SYMPHONY No. 3 is postponed. Everything depends on how much money Prague wants to send, ChM has not received anything yet. Also, the Bärenreiter publishing house has not replied regarding the SONATA FOR FLUTE, HOUSEL AND Clavier, which was returned to BM. However, ChM does not have the manuscript. He also asks that KS send the book by Miloš Šafránek. ChM has a friend in Nice who would read the book. ChM also has to go to Zurich at the beginning of the year to meet [Jaroslav] Berger. Dilia was to send the score to ISTAR. HH will bring the manuscript of the JULIETTA lifts that ChM found at Max Eschig's. They can publish the work. HH will also tell KS that Boosey & Hawkes does not have Symphony No. 3. So maybe KS could write to the Boston Symphony Orchestra, which might have an orchestral score.
