ContentKarel Šebánek thanks for the letters. KŠ wrote 4 letters to Bohuslav Martinů, but received no reply. KS wrote to him to come [to the Czechoslovak Republic] to sort everything out himself. There will be about 6 BM compositions at the [Prague Spring] festival: on 14 May Bruno Bělčík plays a MUSIC CONCERT, on 25 May there will be a SYMPHONIETTA "LA JOLA", on 26 May a FIELD MASS, on 27 May a MASS. Three Frescoes [FRESCAS OF PIERRE DELLA FRANCESCA] - if the Cleveland Orchestra comes, on the 28th of May LEGEND OF NATE and then there will be STUDIES again [OPENING OF THE STUDIOS] - maybe Jan Kühn will perform it together. KS is concerned about the change of chairman, who is now [Emil] Hlobil. Karel Novák will probably have tickets [for the Prague Spring] for František [Martinů]. KS does not know whether he himself will get any. With the bust in Paris it is complicated. BM should write to the sculptor to give the bust to our embassy, which will send it to Prague.
