Content and physical description
ContentKarel Šebánek finally tracked down [Jiří] Macek and also Mrs Neubauer. The discs of SYMPHONY No. 4 and the piece performed by Navarra have not yet been released. Charlotte Martinů will receive the discs by mail. KS has spoken with [Brian] Largo and his manager by phone but has not yet seen them. KS is still trying to track down the score of the CONCERTO FOR CELLO AND ORCHESTRA No. 2; he will write to Doblinger, which is now Associated Music Publishers instead of Schott Music, which has already sent the cello and piano excerpts to [Bohus] Heran. [Jean] Perrison has already received the score of GREEK PASSIONS. [Henri] Honegger has his own material for the [SONATA DA CAMERA] in the United States, but Sasha Vettomov has material with the score. There is said to be a recording of DIVERTIMENTA (CONCERTINA) by a one-armed German pianist [Siegfried Rapp] who has his own material for orchestra. KS asks whether ChM approved this recording three years ago. It needs to be reported to SUISE as it is a GDR production in Berlin. KS will check the pianist's name. KS also sends an extract of the contract with Universal Edition. He does not understand the commission calculation and feels it is necessary to check the contract. Also missing is an item with the Greek Passions, which were performed in Czechoslovakia four times in 1965. He attaches four appendices.
