Content and physical description
ContentCharlotte Martinů writes to Karel Šebánek about the letters addressed to her by Mrs Pospíšilová. The letters should have been opened by [Anna] Špačková or KŠ. ChM has received two discs of CLAVIERNE TRIO No. 3 and Grand Trio [?]. He asks KS to thank [Vojtech] Strnad for sending them. He is also to say that [Emmanuel] Bondeville has not yet received the JULIETTY discs. ChM asked [Alfred] Schlee about a discount on the rental of FRESEK PIERRA DELLA FRANCESCA material. KS asks if there is a Czech violinist [Dario?] Aloy who lives in Rome. He also asks to tell AS that [Pierre] Vidal will be engaged to publish the book. ChM has to sign a form from the Bankers Trust Company but needs to understand the new cheque system. He therefore asks KS to reply and check the document as soon as possible. She has received a letter from Schott Music GmbH & Co. so she now needs to contact [Ulf] Schirmer, who now has the manuscript. She has also received a statement from the Panton publishers. She is sending KS a signed parcel regarding SUITE FROM OPERA JULIETTE. She also hopes that the THREE FRAGMENTS FROM THE OPERA JULIETTE, which she took to [Jan] Matějiček, will be published, as Bohuslav Martinů wished it. ChM's sister [Georgette Bécourt] is ill and it is very stressful for ChM. She thought that JM would return to Paris at the end of February. She found in her papers a list of manuscripts brought by S. (Suisa?), begs KS not to forget them. She also has the manuscript of THEATRE BEHIND THE GATE.
