Content and physical description
ContentBM apologised for being late with the letter. He was exhausted with work and was just resting after coming to Bohemia for the holidays. He will send the score and voices of the Moravian Dances [Ronda, H.200] to the addressee, who intends to perform them in Brno at a concert of the Conservatoire, in December [1932]. He would still like to have them with him if someone wants to perform them in Paris. A publisher has not yet been found for them, so they are in manuscript. They were a great success in Paris; they were introduced by A. Cortot and his ensemble. He says they are not too difficult, but if the audience of the Brno Conservatoire were not up to it, he would send his little Serenades, which are really light, but he has not yet the performance material for it. He tried to make things right with the Copyright Protection Association (OSA), and Schott gave him back the performance rights. He asks the addressee if he could perform in Brno some of his orchestral works published by Schott. He names the Serenade for small orchestra, the Partita and the 'cello' concerto with orchestra. Schott would send a sample of the score.
