Content and physical description
ContentMartinů will not come to Prague, the premiere of JULIETTA is postponed until March. He sends a corrected manuscript of FOUR SONGS ABOUT MARY, which is to be returned to K. Šejn at Vinohrady Hlahol after printing. CONCERTO GROSSO will therefore not be published. Martinů asks for the manuscript back, perhaps to be sent after Mrs. Fuchsová.
He advises Melantrich to secure the works of the gifted composer V. Kapralová, who is studying in Paris.
Concerning the SPALIK, Talich promises him that he will put it into the repertoire immediately. They are to get subsidies from the Ministry of Education, from abroad and from the Academy (ask Dr. Stepan, Safranek and V. Urban, who did the piano lift). When Martinů comes to Prague, he will personally arrange everything.
What are they doing with the piano pieces? Have the violin pieces been published?

PS will send TRE RICERCARI to the Venice Festival. He will need to write out the material.
