ContentAccording to Bohuslav Martinů's wish, Dilia will not give a representation of his works to B&H. For JULIETTA, Dilia has only Czech piano lifts. He will have a German translation done by R. Brock, but they do not have an English translation. The ND material, which has already been corrected, was sent to Martin in America. Dilia asks for the score. It would be good to get the material back from Wiesbaden. They have finished THE SPALICE, they are finishing THE THEATRE BEHIND THE GATE. Martinů has given permission to the theatre in Olomouc that the royalties can stay in the Czechoslovakia. To what address should they be paid?
They had THEATRE BEHIND THE GATE translated into German and sent the piano lifts to their partners in the West. Should they send one copy of the Martins? They want to reproduce THE BRIDGE OF FAITH. Can they get material for MIRANDOLINA for the Czechoslovakia? B&H don't want to provide material, even though there is interest in the opera.
SNKLHU sends Martinů the newly published CONCERT FOR VIOLONCELLO AND ORCHESTRA [No. 1].
