Trio Filomusi have informed him of the TRIO’s performance in the Netherlands; in November, the piece will be performed in Prague by Stanislav Novák within a show of his works. Walter Straram is pleased to hear that the premiere of the CONCERTO FOR VLC AND ORCH. NO. 1 will be in Paris, only the date now has to be set. The Embassy has, through the Umělecká beseda artistic society, ordered several copies of his works that have been published by the addressee. BM kindly asks for the price list of his works. BM asks for information as regards the SERENADE and its reception in Germany. Václav Talich, who is currently in Stockholm, was enthused by the work, he has performed it in Czechoslovakia at least ten times. VT will directly contact the addressee with a request for information concerning the material. BM asks whether they have informed Ernest Ansermat. He asks for news about Gaston Verhuych-Coulon and the CONCERTO FOR STRING QUARTET AND ORCH., performed by Pro Arte. He has sent to Prague a request that they send to the addressee the “female choruses” [CZECH RHYMES].
