ContentPavel Bořkovec wishes Bohuslav Martinů a Happy New Year and looks forward to his return. In the autumn, Martinů was heard here in a new HOUSEL CONCERT [No. 2], played by [name of performer illegible]. There will be a DOUBLE CONCERT that has already been played here by [Paul] Sacher. SYMPHONY No. 4 (on all Czech Philharmonic tours) and VIOLONCELL CONCERT [No. 1 196 I] with [Bohus] Heran and a number of chamber works are still being played. [Karel] Šebánek will certainly inform BM about his compositions. PB recently found an account of his "vivid" dream, which he dares to write to BM, as the author of JULIETTA: on 28.1.1948, PB thought BM had returned, he looked exquisite, as in the last photograph, they wanted to go to Karel Novák's, a lot of people gathered, military delegations, school children in double file, and a girl recited some revolutionary patriotic verses.
