ContentKarel Šebánek is glad that František Martinů has received a positive response to his application. Jaromír Pečírka and Otto Eckert from the Academy of Arts and Crafts contributed to this [in addition to KS]. KS is having trouble with the Bohuslav Martinů contract, which he cannot get anywhere. Only after three weeks does KS reply to BM's letter. BM can publish PLAYS ABOUT MARIES wherever he wants, because the local publishers have not kept their contract. If they [in Polička] have the scores of THE RIVER WHO IS THE MOST POWERFUL IN THE WORLD and THE MOTHER WHO DUPED, they should send them, KS would have them copied. The deck is being described now. Then he'll give them the score back.
