ContentKarel Šebánek received the score. With the Hymn of Praise [HYMN TO SAINT JAMES] it is not so fast, because there is a problem with the text. Dilia does not want the HYMN now, but the JULIET. KS has received 5 letters from Bohuslav Martinů with various requests which KS is trying to fulfill. There is interest in the PLAYS ABOUT MARIA. Artia wants to publish the piano excerpt in print. Artia's contract with Boosey and Hawkes is due to go to London this week. BM's money from the publications will be remitted to his place of residence. It is difficult to write specific news when things are constantly changing. KS does not yet have a contract with Melantrich. There is no Paris contract, so BM need not worry. Last week, [Bruno] Belcik played a wonderful Violin Concerto [No. 2] in concert with FOK. The performance was more successful than the premiere with [Alexander] Plock a few years ago. At last BM compositions are appearing in the programmes of orchestras and soloists.
