Content and physical description
ContentKarel Šebánek thanks for the letter that came yesterday. 2. The SYMPHONY staged by [Rafael] Kubelík was a success. The Field Mass is to be performed at the end of February and the beginning of March. The CS asks for a copy of the SONATES FOR VIOLINS AND CLAVIER No. 1 and No. 2 and the SONATES FOR TWO VIOLINS [H 182, H 208 and H 213] by B[ohuslav] Martinů to be performed by the RK in the Chamber Society. Either he sends money for them, or RK then returns them. He asks for a quick reply so that he can let RK know. Have they received a package from America? He sends the address of Václav Fiala that [František] Popelka asked for.
KS resented the article in Radio. BM has no need to ask to be defended. KS got a package from BM and they could make real coffee. FM shouldn't worry if he hasn't received the package yet. Packages are a long way off. KS regrets that he couldn't bring anything from London because he had no money. They have a paradise there - food and everything else. If FM has Mr. Married's article about BM, he is to send it to BM. Alternatively, BM will send it to KS. BM is to be invited to the festival [Prague Spring]. Does FM know whether [Otakar] Šourek wrote to [František] Popelka?
