ContentFietzek praises Šafránek's book. Unfortunately, BM is not well known in East Germany because his work is hard to find. Fietzek has created a small library, containing e.g. scores and photocopies, but many important works are still missing (he lists some of them). He is helped by the Šafránek book, which lists all BM's works. It puts BM in line with other greats (Bach, etc.). Maybe he will get to Prague in the summer and hopes to find out something new about BM.
