Content and physical description
ContentHe congratulates him on his success in Russia. She recommends him a cellist from Lebanon - Elian Magnan (she also knows several Czechs...), who is interested in a concert exchange of her quartet with a Czech quartet. He gives her address in Beirut. She writes about her book [My Life with Bohuslav Martinů], she is pleased because she has received much praise and the University of Southern Illinois is requesting it because it is no longer available. She writes about family, health. He plans to come to Prague in the spring of 1972. Complains that they still haven't performed Juliette at Covent Garden in Lodz (it's been 4 years!). He asks about Joska's son [presumably Kamil Páleníček, son of Josef Páleníček), whether he is in Paris. She asks him to ask Ivan Strauss about the violin sonatas, as it seems they will be published in Prague. He also mentions the theft of documents and money from a hotel in Zurich.
