Content and physical description
ContentFrank has to talk a certain person out of publishing his letters, he would never give permission. He's curious how the Parabol premiere went, they didn't catch the radio broadcast. They sent him (a recording?) of the Rytin from Louisville, it sounds good, even the reviews are good. He's composing - he finished Mikes of the Mountains (the whole cycle from the Highlands is supposedly going to be filmed) and Nonet. Otherwise, he reads mysteries. He's in the same health, trying to put on weight. He's looking forward to Nice, he'll have peace there. My sister hopes they'll come in the summer, but she'll be disappointed. She describes the weather. Blue print papers and photocopying seem expensive to him, they are to send him samples of (other) papers. Ruda is going to Australia. They study Mirandolin in Prague and occasionally send him money from his compositions. He asks Frank if he has saved any of his manuscripts with him, he collects them and doesn't know where some of them are.
