ContentBohuslav Martinů draws the addressee’s attention to the fact that he has not had the score of the CONCERTO FOR VLC AND ORCH. NO. 1 in his possession for a long time – he has deposited it with Max Eschig, who promised to send it to the addressee. Since it is an autograph, BM would be grateful if the addressee could find out its whereabouts and then take the necessary steps so that it is sent to Mr. Van den Burg. Since the festival, he has been asked by the Italians for other compositions – the addressee should send the scores of the SERENADE, PARTITA and CONCERTO FOR STRING QUARTET AND ORCH. to Oresto Piccardi in Milan. Hermann Scherchen has shown a great interest in his works too.
