ContentBohuslav Martinů asks the addressee to give him advice concerning the contracts they have concluded together: the Copyright Protection Association in Prague have upbraided him that he had no right to sign a contract through which he assigns the ownership of works since, as a member of the Association, he has already conveyed it to them. Accordingly, he has not settled the matters with the Association and even discussed his being excluded. He himself understands little and has asked the Association to postpone the matter, thus making it possible for him to take advice from the addressee.
He has written to Mr. Gaspar Cassadó that he will offer the CONCERTO FOR VLC AND ORCH. NO. 1 to Mr. Mengelberg; he informs the addressee that the score is maintained by Max Eschig. GC will play the PIANO TRIO NO. 1 in Italy. He hopes he will manage to have the concerto performed by him in Prague too. BM will be staying in Polička for some time.
