ContentContract for THE STRANGLER signed on July 3, 1986 by Max Eschig and on October 20, 1986 by the Czech Music Fund.
Attached to the document is a copy of a resolution of the CHF committee dated 15 September 1986, which agrees to the conclusion of the submitted contracts for the works SHAKH KRÁLI and ŠKRTIČKA. These works, together with THE MOUNTAIN OF THREE LIGHTS, were given to the publisher by Charlotte Martinů before her death, but she no longer signed contracts for the works in question. The Max Eschig publishing house has now prepared contracts for THE HAT and THE CHESS OF KINGS. For THE MOUNTAIN OF THREE LIGHTS the relationship to the author of the text or his heirs is not clear.
