ContentErnst Roth thanks for the letter of November 26 [in the database under the signature BH 1959-11-26]. He encloses a paper with the dates and places of the performances of COMEDY ON THE BRIDGE, THE MARRIAGE and WHAT MEN LIVE BY. Separately, he is sending one copy of the piano score for each piece, along with a copy of the opera and ballet catalog including Martinů's works, which he hopes will be helpful. To P.S. in a letter [of November 26], Boosey & Hawkes Bonn did not publish Martinů's Piano Trio [meaning the BERGERETTES].

Dear Mr. Safranek,



Thank you for your letter of 26th November. As requested I am enclosing herewith a list giving dates and places of performances of COMEDY ON THE BRIDGE, THE MARRIAGE and WHAT MEN LIVE BY. As far as I can ascertain this ist is complete.



I am sending you by separate mail one copy of each of the piano scores of these three works together with a copy of our Operas and Ballets catalogue including works by Martinu which might be helpful.



As for the P.S. in your letter Boosey & Hawkes in Bonn have not published Martinu's Piano Trio.
