Content and physical description
ContentOtakar Kukla is considering future exhibitions of Jan Zrzavý's works in Pardubice and Polička. Would JZ agree that when the exhibition in Polička ends, it should be moved directly to Hradec Králové? Polička is a small town, but it has a relatively rich cultural life, with concerts of Bohuslav Martinů's works taking place there. This year, two evenings were dedicated to BM: during the first one, [Václav] Holzknecht spoke and students of the conservatory played smaller pieces. On the second evening, the Kühn Choir performed all four cantatas on the text by [Miloslav] Bures [STUDANKY, LEGEND, ROMANCI Z PAMPELIŠEK and the cantata MIKEŠ Z HOR]. OK describes the beauties of Polička - 'the more modest they are, the more heartfelt they are'. BM dedicated his HYMNUS to the statue of St. James by Václav Levy. He speaks of BM's native shrine. He refers to BM's letter. He would point to the SW cemetery where the entire Martin family is buried.
