ContentBohuslav Martinů thanks Ernst Roth for accepting his propositions and will return the materials for MIRONADLINA and PIANO CONCERT No. 3. He asks him to send everything to his current address, including a confirmation from the copyright department.
BM asks if ER knows where his PIANO CONCERT No. 2 is. If they have (Boosey & Hawkes, London) any other manuscripts or mastersheets, BM wants them sent as well, they should have been returned a long time ago.
BM also asks for a copy of Rossini's Variations for Cello and Piano. He's sorry ER didn't like MIRANDOLINA.
Post scriptum BM asks to send one copy of WHAT PEOPLE LIVE BY (note "vocal score") and the score COMEDY ON THE BRIDGE (note: "how much?").

Thank you for your prompte answer, I am glad that you accepted my propositions concerning Locandiera and the third Piano concerto. Please, send me everything at my present address

And also the confirmation from your Copyright Dep.

Where is the Second Piano concerto, do you know? Do you have some others Manuscript-mastersheets? Send them to me too.

You should have give me everything back already longtime ago.

Could you send me also one copy of the Rossini variations for cello and piano?

And [!]. Am sorry that you didn’t like the opera.
