| Content | Following his activities in Polička, Tomáš Hejzlar greets Charlotte Martinů. He regrets that he could not meet ChM during her stay in Prague. Currently, TH holds the post of classical music editor within Panton editions and he is very honoured to be able to deal with the work of Bohuslav Martinů to such an extent. He informs ChM that they plan to publish the cycle KYTICE, DIVERTIMENTO for left hand, SCHERZO for piano and others during 1976. Among other things, they are also preparing a children's chorus, BIRD'S HODES, Op. 379, and he would like ChM to make three copies of the manuscript available to him as soon as possible. Panton will naturally cover any costs. The 1924 SCHERZO, which TH discovered in 1971, will be published in 1976 according to the editorial plan. The premiere of this work, according to the programme sent by TH to ChM, was in 1972 in Polička. TH is happy to be the owner of the manuscript, which he bought from the previous owner at a high price. |
