ContentMay it be excused that Marie Martinů only today confirmed the receipt of CONCERTINA [apparently the edition published by the CHF in 1957] and the three books of SPALICE. They [KS and the dopr.] were waiting to see if they would arrive for the unveiling of the plaque, but it's a good thing they didn't come, the weather was terrible and got worse during the ceremony. She was lying down because of that. I'm sure KS will see the plaque at some point, he will like it and the museum, which they will have to expand in the next few years. They won't be able to do the shrine until spring anyway. BM has probably already written to KS as well, you can tell from the letter that he is in a good mood. He also writes about Life [the biography of BM written by Miloš Šafránek, "Bohuslav Martinů: His Life and Works"], it is supposedly a promotional Czech edition, what did [Miloš] Šafránek give them? But they didn't get anything, does KS know anything about it?
