ContentJindřich Honzl hopes that Bohuslav Martinů received his letter of 2 June [1933]. He reminded Nezval to send BM verses. He received a letter from Mánes in which the secretary told him that the committee meeting had agreed to carry out the ballet project. The Mánes instructed Dr. Kamil Novotny, who was in charge of the federal enterprises, to discuss it further with him. As the Mánes (Secretary and other members Hoffmeister, Muzika and others) are genuinely interested, he is waiting for further proposals from BM. He had a telephone conversation with Dr. Ot. Fischer regarding Czech literature on the miracle. OF is also interested in MARIKEN and would like to be the second librettist of the BM. OF has an idea for five paintings, but JH has advised him that BM also has an exact layout. He promised him that he will write to BM about this as well.
