ContentWilhelm Strecker considers the revised Concerto for Cello and Orchestra No. 1 a success. Work is now in progress on the edition of the piano lift. The complete material should be available on 5.12. for performance [by Pierre Fournier]. BM will soon receive proofs of the piano lift and solo part. The material will then be provided to PF for study. WS also asked Samuel Dushkin to return the proofs of the CONCERTANT SUITE FOR HOUSELETS AND ORCHESTRA. The work should be published in the fall.
